Isn’t this the time of year when it’s supposed to warm up? Yesterday it was hella cold. At least the nights are getting lighter.

Damn, I’ve done it again…. the whole idea of having a savings account is to save, which I do every pay cheque. But lately my idea of a savings account is to save for breeches, new bridle, boots etc. Not what it’s supposed to be for, moving out.

Winter Blues

There is nothing I want more than the snow to melt and the sun to actually do what it’s supposed to do, be hot. Every time I see pictures or videos of people riding I get twitchy and annoyed, which results into binge watching Gro Pro head cam videos on youtube (they’re awesome by the way).

Red will get right in Trixies face, even though she’s barking as loud as she can.

First Ride of the Year!

This weekends weather couldn’t have been any better! (for January in Saskatchewan anyway). Saturday was a perfect +1 and today was around -9. Both days were windy, but luckily enough, our arena was wind free!

Neighyears Resolutions

2014 was a great horsey year for me, I got back into riding after having 3 years off, I got over being a nervous wreck,I’ve jumped, had some good gallops, got better at my flat work, had concussion, been out and about with Red, mum and her horse Annie, and splurged out on tack (no regrets)

It’s a Mare Thing

I have been extremely inactive these past few days, but honestly I had nothing interesting to really talk about. This week so far hasn’t been very interesting, the same routine of work, eat, sleep and repeat. Oh but my new cooler arrived!

I finally managed to ride today!!! I have wanted to ride for 2 weeks now, but it’s been so cold and it’s dark when I get home. So when I saw that this weekends weather was only -6 I couldn’t wait for saturday.
